I was born and raised in Palos Verdes, located in sunny Southern California. Growing up, I always loved to draw. I love the freedom of a blank piece of paper and a pen, with the only limitation being my imagination. This love of creative expression led to a love of art, surfing and music. My love of art and wanting to further my skills in design led me to beautiful Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. There I got my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication concentrating in Web and Digital Media from their AMAZING Graphic Communication department. Currently, I am located in San Diego looking for a Creative position where I can put my skills to good use!
I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Graphic Communication concentrating in Web and Digital Media. My degree encompasses printing methods and technologies, web design, business strategies within the industry, as well as how to be an effective manager. Graphic Communication is basically how to take designs and put them out into the world, either physically or digitally. During my time at Cal Poly, I learned how printing presses worked and how to operate them, how to create files for a variety of outputs, the entire process for designing websites and apps, and most importantly, how to work with people. In my 4 years as a GrC student, I became very proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud programs. I look forward to continuing my education and furthering my skills throught my career.
When I'm not doodling in my sketchbook, I love to be outdoors hiking, surfing, and camping. I love the natural beauty of nature and the adventure of exploring new places. Traveling has helped keep me inspired by giving me the opportunity to experience different ways of life, different styles of art, and different ways of thinking.
When I'm at home, I like to keep my creative juices flowing by expressing myself over a variety of mediums. I enjoy writing music, playing guitar, and jamming with my friends whenever I have the chance. I have also recently found a love for cooking, which pairs great with my love of eating.
